McConnell and Brue s Economics: Principles, Problems, and Policies is the leading Principles of Economics textbook because it is innovative and teaches students in a clear, unbiased way. The 17th Edition builds upon the tradition of leadership with three main goals: help the beginning student master the principles essential for understanding the economizing problem, specific economic issues, and the policy alternatives; help the student understand and apply the economic perspective and reason accurately and objectively about economic matters; and promote a lasting student interest in economics and the economy.

Economic Book DeliverReviewed by Sasha, 2009-11-30
I ordered the Economic Book on the 29th of october and i think it took about 2 weeks to be receive by me, the sender was late sending the book. Because he/she was late sending the book, they sent the study guidebook along with the book to make up for sending the book late. I was notified by email. I would like to thank them for being honest and letting me know they were late;although, the study guide didn't help me, it still was very business like to send it anyways and that is really important. I would do business with them again!

Book came extremely fast. It is used but in good shape. I'm very happy with it.
Basic comprehensive, non mathematical.Reviewed by J. L. Thoreen, 2009-10-05
I acquired this book to refresh my 60 year old training in
economics, because of contemporary commentators' sometimes casual
use of such terms as "profit" and "marginal."
Well it is comprehensive, illustrates with data through 2005,
discusses a number of modern terms, but, like the texts I studied
years ago, it doesn't use evem the elementary calculus and algebra
concepts that are taught in high school these days -- derivative,
integral, max, min, slope, solving f(x)=g(x).
It could be an easier read if it used these ideas in addition to
the graphic methods it does use well.
